Jason Denton is a Seattle based singer-songwriter whose music ranges from rock, pop, and funk to reggae, blues, and folk. Immersed in music from a young age, he grew up listening to artists like The Beatles, Freddie King, Jimmy Cliff, Ray Charles, Hank Williams, Led Zeppelin, Woody Guthrie, and The Meters, all of whom have influenced his eclectic style.
Jason’s debut album, “Juxtapose” is a compilation of works he’s created over the past two decades. Drawing from current events as well as personal experiences, the album culminates in a collection of feel good, rhythmic tones coupled with heart-felt, tender ballads. Collaboration with Seattle musicians grounds this album in local talent, yet its variation in music styles and relatable lyrics resonate with listeners worldwide.
